Living rooms with a serious picture
Media room design for UAE residences
Redwood Cinema designs media rooms for residences in Dubai and the UAE: living spaces with a considered screen, audio, seating, and control, rather than a room used only for screening.
A dedicated cinema can go dark and use projection, tiered seats, and a full loudspeaker layout. A media room has to work with daylight, conversation, and the rest of the interior. The display is often a panel. The audio is sized to the room, not copied from a cinema drawing.
Both are part of this practice. The choice between them is made at the brief, with the architect and interior designer, before equipment is ordered.
